Upcoming Event: Play Like a Girl Holiday Huddle

I had the pleasure of attending a luncheon hosted by the founder of Play Like A Girl. When the organization reached out to me, I was eager to learn more about the non-profit and find out ways in which I could help spread their message. The focus of the organization is to empower girls ages 9-13 through sports and a new STEM component will be launched soon. It is so important to get the younger female generation active in sports not only to combat obesity but to also create confidence and leadership skills.

On Sunday, December 10th from 4:00p to 8:00p Play Like a Girl is hosting a Holiday Huddle Charity Cocktail Party at The Grove. This event is specifically raising money to launch new clubs in Davidson, Rutherford, and Williamson Counties in 2018. Come out and enjoy some holiday cocktails and know that 100% of donations will be going towards empowering girls throughout our communities!
