Mazda CX-5
I was sent this vehicle by Mazda to test drive and share a review. As always I am sharing my own, honest opinions.
If you are a person on the go like me, then this 2017 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover is perfect for you. I balance a full-time job and my brand so it's important for me to have a vehicle that gets good mileage per gallon since I am often going to lunch meetings during the day and events after work throughout the week. When I saw the red, I was immediately OBSESSED with it because it is not your normal red. The official name of this newly developed exterior color is Soul Red Crystal Metallic, and as you can see it is so sleek.
This crossover comes with a ton of amazing features! One of my favorites is the Windshield-projected Active Driving Display with Traffic Sign Recognition. Not only does the display show your speed versus the speed limit, but it also shows when you are approaching stop signs by having an image of a stop sign appear. If that weren't enough, if you veer and start crossing into the next lane, the Lane Departure Warning will appear and alert you. With the cold weather coming the heated seats for both driver and front-seat passenger are appreciated, and for the driver they can enjoy a nice heated steering wheel!
I love listening to music and podcasts while driving, and the BOSE 10 speaker surround sound system provide great audio quality. The knobs that are located on the center console work using a toggle feature which lets you make selections and change the volume with ease. For those who like to store items in their trunk, there is a cargo cover that is very easy to use. It allows you to store your valuables out of site and is attached to the hatch door which makes it simple to load and unload.
All in all I am very pleased with this compact crossover, and strongly suggest you at least take one for a test drive if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Trust me, you will fall in love with it!
